    What exactly is a dash plate? I've never heard of this. I guess you can tell that I don't go to many car shows.

      Dash plates/plaques are given to each registrant when they have a car show and it normally has the feature car printed on them.

      I Kelly I posted above as well but they are given to each registrant of a car show and usually have the feature car printed on them, they put them on their dash, that is why they are called dash plates I believe.
